Kia has announced that the all-new Telluride SUV will be revealed at the 2020 LA Motor Show. It will be the first ever seven-seat SUV from the Korean brand and it is expected to go on sale in 2021.

The Telluride is based on Kia's new modular vehicle architecture (KMA) which has been designed to accommodate a wide range of different body styles, including MPVs, SUVs, crossovers and even sports cars. The new platform will also underpin a number of future products from Kia's sister company Hyundai.

The Telluride will be powered by an all-new 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which develops around 250PS and 400Nm of torque. A mild hybrid version is also planned with an electric motor working with the petrol engine to boost efficiency and performance levels.
